Site health monitoring
Know first when your site goes down, ads.txt disappears or Google gets blocked.
The problems that cost an AdSense site money rarely announce themselves: a plugin rewrites robots.txt, a CDN starts challenging Googlebot, ads.txt vanishes after a migration, the certificate runs out. We check for them every day, and every five minutes for uptime, and e-mail you only when something changes.

2 changes on yoursite.com
Since our previous check (6 Oct 2026, 09:30 UTC):
- robots.txt now disallows Mediapartners-Google (AdSense) on the homepage (line 6: Disallow: /).
- Cloudflare now returns 403 to GPTBot (simulated, seen on two daily checks in a row).
What we watch
Six things that quietly break an AdSense site
- 1
Uptimeevery 5 minutes
We load your homepage. Two failures in a row (timeout, server error or a challenge page) open an incident and send one e-mail; another goes out when the site is back, with how long it was down.
- 2
ads.txtdaily
We alert you if /ads.txt disappears, starts returning a web page, or loses the google.com line with your own publisher ID.
- 3
Googlebot and the AdSense crawlerdaily
We read robots.txt the way Google does and request your homepage as Googlebot and Mediapartners-Google, the crawler AdSense uses to read your pages.
- 4
SSL certificatedaily
A warning 14 days and again 7 days before the certificate expires, and straight away if it becomes invalid.
- 5
14 AI crawlersdaily
GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and the rest: their robots.txt rules, a simulated request as each one, and your llms.txt.
- 6
Weekly summaryweekly
One e-mail a week with each site's status, uptime and the changes of the week.
Optional
Server agent
Each monitoring subscription includes one server agent: a small open-source program for Linux servers that watches the machine itself, not a site. It reads CPU, memory, disks and processes every minute on the server and e-mails you when something is wrong.
Disk filling up
A filesystem at 90%, or projected full within 48 hours at the rate of the last 6 hours. Inodes too.
Memory, swap and load
Memory at 95% for 10 minutes, heavy swapping, load above twice the cores for 15 minutes.
Server or agent silent
No heartbeat for 15 minutes: the server is down, offline or the agent stopped.
Suspicious signals (heuristic)
Crypto-miner names, programs running from /tmp or deleted, new listening ports, new crontab lines, new SSH keys, new setuid files, changed PHP or JS files. A reason to look, not an antivirus verdict.
One line to install
curl -fsSL https://approvalens.com/agent/install.sh | sudo bash -s -- --token <TOKEN>
The token comes from your account (Add a server). The script is short and readable, verifies the SHA-256 of the binary and supports --dry-run.
It never runs commands or code it receives, opens no port, never sends file contents, and runs read-only with 5% CPU and 64 MB of memory at most.
About 230 KB of data a day: a tiny heartbeat every 5 minutes, chart data every 15 minutes, events at once.

AdSense & AI site health monitoring
$4.99per month
We watch the things that quietly break AdSense approval and AI visibility, and email you only when one of them changes.
- Uptime: your homepage loaded every 5 minutes, an email when it goes down and when it is back
- TLS certificate: a warning 14 and 7 days before it expires, and at once if it becomes invalid
- ads.txt: an alert if it disappears or loses your google.com publisher line
- Google access: robots.txt rules plus simulated homepage requests as Googlebot and Mediapartners-Google (AdSense)
- 14 AI crawlers: robots.txt rules, simulated homepage requests and llms.txt, rechecked daily
- Alerts only when something changes, with before and after, plus a weekly summary
What “simulated” means
Crawler requests come from our server with the crawler's user agent. A firewall that verifies crawlers by IP address can treat the real Googlebot or GPTBot differently, so a server-side change has to show on two daily checks in a row before we email you. robots.txt, ads.txt, llms.txt and TLS changes are emailed the same day.
Every full report already includes one month of this monitoring for its site.
Included with every full report
Buy the full AdSense report for a site and its monitoring runs for the same month as your unlimited rescans. Three days before that month ends we send one reminder; continuing costs $4.99 a month.
Questions
How is this different from a free uptime monitor?
Uptime is one of six checks. The others are the ones an uptime tool doesn't look at and that matter for AdSense and for AI assistants: ads.txt, Googlebot and the AdSense crawler's access, the certificate, and AI crawler access.
Do you send an e-mail every day?
No. You get an e-mail when something changes, when the site goes down and comes back, and one weekly summary.
What does “simulated” mean?
Crawler requests go from our server with the crawler's user agent. A firewall that verifies crawlers by IP address may treat the real Googlebot or GPTBot differently, so a server-side change must show on two daily checks in a row before we e-mail you. robots.txt, ads.txt and llms.txt changes are reported the same day.
Can I monitor several sites?
Yes, one subscription per site. Each site you unlock with a full report or a site-pack credit includes its first month.
How do I cancel?
From your account page (Manage subscription). Monitoring continues until the end of the month you paid for.
